Hey all. I'm new to linux and as part of an imap server, I tried to get Exim to work. I have no idea what I'm doing and I really can't find anything on this. THe instructions I was using were out of date, and I need to get this script to work on Exim 4 because it was made for 3. Here it is:
local_delivery:
driver = appendfile
group = mail
maildir_format = true
directory = /home/${local_part}/Maildir
create_directory = true
mode = 0660
mode_fail_narrower = false
envelope_to_add = true
return_path_add = true
It was made to let exim use a maildir format imap server to do something, but I don't know enough about exim to even say what its main use is. I can't seem to find any documentation for dummies like me.
Any help at all would really be nice, and a big thanks for just looking at this.
