Hello all, this is my first post.

I have an old IBM Thinkpad (type 2621) with 64mb ram, I believe a 466mhz processor. It's pretty old but it was a bargain at $20

I have a wireless network set up at home and I'm using a Linksys Wireless-G PCMIA card (WPC54GS v1.1). It works with through windows XP but the system runs sluggishly with only 64mb of ram. I'm trying to get DSL to recognize this card but it won't even show up, I've tried the wlcardconfig and it says no network card detected. I'd appreciate any help you could give me, I'm fairly new to Linux and would like detailed instructions if possible.
Thanks for any response.
