You might download Knoppix and try it. That's the 700 MB big distro, and it has everything. DSL has been reduced in size, and may not be able to boot that card. If Knoppix cannot do it, then you may be out of luck with any other Knoppix-based liveCD distro. There is a mandrake-based one, PClinuxOS, which you might want to download and try. It is a liveCD distro also, and I find a lot to like in it. None of these are perfect, however, I get crashes with the Amarok player all the time in PClinuxOS, but have to live with it, because it can boot my sound card on my Dell.
