Ive got a TRENDnet TE100-PCBUSR It does have a linux driver for the 2.4 kernel, but requires make && make install
guide for the network card seen here http://langlyweb.no-ip.com/install_instruction.txt
also wants files copied to /usr/src which doesnt exist.

how can I get this card working?

Nevermind, I have good reason to believe now that the card is dead, and that being the cause of my problem, and the fact i know what driver the card actualy uses now, and that it is nativly supported, my previous question is now moot.
