In addition, it looks like the command 'pon' reads the file : /etc/ppp/peers/provider. and this file associates pon to a modem speed 115200, which I've never configured or declared anywhere. It's a weird problem because pppoeconf should set this file correctly and then, pon reads the data in the /etc/ppp/peers/provider file to connect to the network no?
If I'm wrong or don't understand what's going on... tell me! Thanks...
