I have installed the dsl vncserver on my box. I can connect to it from my local machine by typing the local ip address. However, when I try to connect from work I get a connection timeout. I have setup my linksys router to forward ports 5900-5910 to the dsl box. I have done this before with remote desktop forwarding port 3389 but I cannot get vnc to work. Am I missing something?

I can remote desktop in to a windows machine on my network and then vnc to the dsl box but I would prefer to be able to log in directly.

Thanks for your help.
