I'm not a new DSL user--I've been using it on my old P233 laptop for over a year. I upgraded to ver 3, and now I can't authenticate with my ISP (dialup). I was using "Stupid Mode = on" in my old wvdial configuration (etc/wvdial.conf), which allowed me to connect with the old system, but I can't figure out where to go "stupid" in the new /etc/ppp/peers/. What file to I need to edit to get stupid, or it's equivalent.
Thanks
