I just got linux running on my computer by booting with the CD.  The computer is an old compaq PIII 500 MHz.  I can ping the Linux computer from the Host of the Network (Running Windows XP) but I cannot browse the web from the Linux computer.  Any Suggestions?

Thanks

You will need to explain you setup.
Meaning: how is everything connected, how should it access the internet, etc.
Also: IP information would be useful, but change the IP addresses to protect the inocent before posting.

OK all the computers are connected through a Hub.  I want to be able to share internet from the Host computer over the network (I am able to do that with the windows computers).  The host computer has Dial up 56.6K (Yes I did wait the cuple hours for  Linux to download!) I am using the 192.168.X.X IP's  Very common apparently for networks.

Hopefully this helped,
