Greetings, I recently installed a wireless LAN at home with 2 desktops and my good old notebook, the problem is that the USB wireless card is not recognized by DSL, the router is an Acer Wlan 11g, and along with it came two USB adaptors, I made sure to search the forum for a possible solution before posting a new request for help but had no luck.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

A guy I work with has a similar card.  He researched and found out it had a realtek chipset, I believe.  Anyway, everything pointed him to needing NDISwrapper to make it run on Linux.

According to this website http://linux_wless.passys.nl/query_p....ek=SHOW Acer has a mini-USB adaptor with a Prism2x chipset, and a USB adaptor with an Atmel chipset.
If yours is the Prism version DSL already has support for it in the form of linux-wlan-ng drivers.  DSLpanel > Prism2.
If yours is the Atmel version there are dedicated Linux drivers from either Sourceforge or BerliOS.  According to the BerliOS compatibility listing - http://at76c503a.berlios.de/devices.html - their driver should work best with this particular model.  I have a DSL package of this driver if you want it.  It's 170KB.
