For some reason microcom isn't able to find the serialport ?

Hardware I am using:
Axiomtek SBC84600 embedded x86 based board.
DSL on 256mb flashmemory.
4 serialports onboard.

In the bios, port setup is:
com1 3F8 IRQ4
com2 2F8 IRQ3
com3 3E8 IRQ10
com4 2E8 IRQ11

in /proc/tty/driver there is a file called serial
it says
com1 3F8 IRQ4
com2 2F8 IRQ3
com3 3E8 IRQ4
com4 2E8 IRQ3

IRQ are different for the last two, however I am only using the first two, but can this be the reason why Microcom can't find the serialports ?

What can I do to make it work?
Thanx in advance
Kee
