Hi, I have just obtained a Wireless LAN cardbus adapter that is designed for both Windows and Limux, the installation CD comes with drivers for all including for RedHat 7.4 and 9.0. When I bootup DSL it recognises that the card is there but it not "recognised" if you know what I mean. According to the Red Hat instructions I can "make" the files provided but when I try to run the "make" command it comes back as not recognised...
System Stats hardware indicates that a Realtek|unknown device 10ec:8180 is present but the driver is unknown, the Ethernet controller is from Realtek Semiconductor Co.
Can anyone please help me? How can I either run the make files and install the drivers or configure DSL to recognose my card...this is getting so frustrating (I have alreasy returned a USB wifif dongle), as I feel I am so close....
