Ok I'm bit lost here (or lot)
I use 2.0 (rc1&2)
First how to make /etc/pcmcia/config writeable with liveboot? mkwriteable script does nothing for /etc so it wont help.
I allso installed DSL to desktop with pcmcia slots and my experimetns got little further. I added couple lines to /etc/pcmcia/config:
device "prism2_cs" class "wireless" module "prism2_cs"
card "Nokia" manfid 0x0124, 0x1110 bind "prism2_cs"
At wlan-ng list it's prism 2.5/3 http://www.linux-wlan.org/docs/wlan_adapters.html.gz
After reboot ifconfi -a shows wlan0. Now i'm stuck here. How to make wlan0 active? My accespoint uses only mac filttering and operates in channel 11.
Any tips?
