I can't use my external modem with DSL...

- It is not automatically detected
- If I manually configure it, I receive, when dialing, the following error message:

/etc/ppp/peers/myprov:
unrecognized option '/dev/ttyS0'

This modem, Apache brand, is detected (and usable) in Windows as 'Conextant RC56D2 Serial Pnp Modem' on COM1.

Any help ?
TIA.
