I stumbled across the Orange 3G Mobile Card whilst browsing the other day. This immediately made me wonder if I could use it on my laptop to solve my internet problems (I have no phone line where I live currently, and can only access the net at work/library).
Does anyone have any idea if this (or similar) would be possible to get to work with DSL, or an alternative linux distro (much as I would be loathe to switch from DSL now that I have it all working how I like it). Are they OS dependant or not? In fact, does anyone know anything at all really!
(note to moderators: I wasn't sure if this should be in networking or laptops, so please feel free to move this post if you deem my choice wrong).
