Quote (ivansv @ Nov. 18 2005,12:27) | i too have a wpc54g card in my laptop and have gone partially through the procedure you gave. have gotten as far as installing the windrivers but when i do ndiswrapper -l the drivers are installed but no hardware present. don't understand this the card has been in the pcmcia slot all this time. how do you go about installing the card so its recognized? thanks for any help and for your procedure, lets hope it works for me. |
What I had to do to get it working was go into 'DSLpanel' and 'PCMCIA Tool', hit 'eject', wait a few seconds, 'insert', and redo the ndiswrapper config.
That's what I did in the GUI. Later if you go into the terminal and check ndiswrapper it should be present.
