I'm a newbie when it comes to installing Linux.  I was able to get it mostly working off of my USB card, but I still have a pretty big issue - wireless (or even wired) access.
I have a Compaq R4000 laptop which has a Broadcom wireless  built in.  Reading around a bit it looks like I might have to use ndisWrapper.  That leaves me with a number of questions...
  1) Does anyone have a newbie instructions for setting up ndisWrapper?  I have Windows XP when I don't boot off of the DSL USB, so I can download anything from there.  I (obviously) can't download anything from within Linux.
I think this is going to be fairly complex, but I really want to give desktop Linux a try.
