I've installed tpconfig via "apt-get install tpconfig" onto my Dell Inspiron 3200 and am trying to get it setup so that my tapping is disabled on the touchpad.
I have edited the tpconfig.conf file and added the following to it: OPTIONS=--tapmode=0
After a reboot, the touchpad is still working. I then set it so that the touchpad would be reset: RESET_P=true
Rebooted again, and the touchpad still is accepting taps.
Has anyone experienced this before that can give me some advice?
Thanks.
