I just installed DSL about 4 days ago and it's my first experience with Linux -- so far so good! DSL appears to have given my old 300mhz laptop a new life!
Currently, I'm trying to get the touchpad vertical edge scrolling to work. I've read a bit about XFree86 (although I don't really understand what it is) and tried installing it... which screwed up my whole system and resulted in my having to reinstall DSL. (Luckily, DSL is so efficient, it only took a few minutes to reinstall!)
So, I'm wondering if anyone can walk me through what steps to take to get touchpad vertical edge scrolling enabled?
My system is a Compaq Armada M300 with a Synaptics touchpad. I'm running an HD install of DSL. Thanks in advance!
