The machine is an Acer Travelmate 514T. I've just acquired a Netgear MA521. Any clues on how to make it work?

http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/archive/18/2003/10/2/101298 <- This guy says that the MA521 isnt supported by linux.

But the MA401 is linux compatible, and you can pick them up on ebay. http://search.ebay.com/netgear-MA401_W0QQfromZR8QQsokeywordredirectZ1

:)  hello

just as a commentary

I use an Orinoco Lucent Silver wireless card with my laptop (ASUS L2000/1Ghz/256MB)and it works great with my AP 3com Home Connect.

I reccomend this wireless card :D
