i have a really old HP Pavilion. no other numbers or anything else that i can see to tell how new it is. It came with windows 98 second edition, btw.
i xvesa server is the only one that works, and even with that, i can not see desktop icons.
when i try and start the xfdev, or the other one besides xvesa, the one with frame buffering for old laptops, it says it can't locate module fb0.
how can i get to see some icons?
or do i really need them?
