Hi all,

I've just downloaded DSL 3.0.1 and it works great on my old laptop (266MHZ, 64MB, 2GB). but only the onboard usb works. If i put in my cardbus usb2.0 adapter (SKD usb2.0 cardbus, model ma-103), it still works but if i have anything in any of the usb ports attached (i have tried a mouse, usb pendrive, and a sis163u wifi stick) it will crash shortly after. If i put any of these in the onboard usb socket they work fine.

I have also tried DSL-N 0.1 RC1 and no success. in other topics it mentions that DSL 2.1b is better for old laptops, is this true, or is there another way to fix it?

and on a side note, would anyone know why teh onboard mouse doesn't work anymore, it used to in windows and knoppix but then it stopped. and i thought that seeming dsl had support for old hardware that it might make it work but no, unless i have to do something special, if so what as it would mean i dont have to have the crappy usb mouse that jitters all the time
