Hi all,
I am new to this forum and would like to see if anyone can assist with some informatin that may help with a project I am working on.
I am making a digital photo frame from an old laptop, to do this though I need to install an OS on a Compact Flash card (using an IDE converter). I have searched through the forum and am struggling to find an answer. I am also new to the Linux world so my background knowledge is pretty slim.
Can anyone point out a howto page that can describe the installation process of DSL onto a CF card? I have found pages that will do theload to a HDD frt then image across, but the laptops I am looking at do not have a HDD to begin with..
Any assistance that can be provided will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
CJ
