This is my first post here, from my newly DSL'd vaio. I have the networking card working and everything works pretty good (havent tested the sound, but dont really care). SO much faster than Win98.
the only problem is that the touchpad doesnt work (does work with usb mouse, but i want the touchpad). i figured out that i need the x86free extension, but im having problems with it. i downloaded it, but i didnt know where to save it so i just saved it in home/dsl. also, i have no idea how to edit the config file. i used a couple of the examples i found online, including someone else who had it on my same laptop, but with BSD. can i just use the standard vesa config file with no editing? how much do i have to edit it? any help would be greatly appreciated
