Hi all,

Yet another n00b question I guess...

I managed to install DSL to my Evo N600c laptop fine - even managed to get my USR5410 wireless card running using ndiswrapper so I'm one happy camper...

What I would like to know though, is why during the install it mentioned creating an ext3 filesystem yet my entire drive is a FAT32 partition...am I missing something here?

What I was planning on doing, was shrinking what I thought was an ext3 partition, creating a swap partition and going from there...

When I saw the partition was FAT32, I booted to DOS to see if I could browse the drive, but all I get is 'File not found.'

run cfdisk and you can see a list of your partitions and their format type.

Well, I dunno what I was doing - cfdisk shows partitions as linux (ext3) and swap.

Thanks for replying hats  :)
