I did some sucessful installations of DSL on my Toshiba Libretto 100 and Portege 3020. No I am waiting for my new toy, a Sony Vaio C1VE :p
IŽve been searching the board up and down but didnŽt find anyone who reported a Vaio C1 running DSL. Only questions on some video issues ???
I like DSL very much and would have it on my Vaio too.
Anyone who has managed to get this gadget running DSL with full video solution (1048x480), camera and support for Crusoe cpu?

I have frugal install of DSL working on Sony C1VPK Picture book at 1024x480 with cursoe processor. I haven't had time to mess with the builtin camera.

The Xfree86.unc that I put together has the config file for this machine's non-standard resolution.

AFAIK *.unc could only be installed on a frugal system.
For several reasons IŽd like to keep my Debian type installation.
Is there a chance to do this? Thanks.

Sorry.. You'll just have to use .dsl's, .tar.gz's and .uci's.. Nearly all extensions are also available as those...

IŽd like to know if this is also the case with the XFree86.dsl extension. I donŽt like to do patching on kernel or drivers. ???
