I swapped my libretto 70ct HD into another laptop and isntalled DSL on it, swapped it back, booted...and got a kernel oops. One of my friends says this has something to do with ISA support, but I'm pretty sure I saw a thread somewhere where someone said they had achieved it. Its odd, it appears to mount my ext2 partition fine, but it reports I have hda1, hda2 and hda5 as swap, but I dont have that hda2 partition....
Any ideas? /me doesnt like libricks ;)

Come on guys please! I really need some help with this one. Iv spent quite a bit of time fiddling and investigating, but to no avail, and my lib-brick, pretty as it is, is not hugely practical ;)

I don't really know the answer, but many people on this forum have reported problems with power management - search for noapm and noacpi. If you would try another install, I suggest that you run dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/hda before hd-install (assuming that hda is your disk) - this will completely zero out the disk, including the partition table.

have you dont a sudo cfdisk to view your partitions..you might have those and not be able to see them

Also its good to "Zero" out a harddrive before installing an OS..unless you dont want to loose everything...if you dont mind erasing everything from a drive I recommend:

make sure you read the README file before using this.
