Hello @,

Does anyone has the same problem:

I'm running dsl from Livecd and from HDD. but both have the same problem...

After a couple of minutes the laptop goes in standby.

Where can i modify this ?

I searched the forum on " standby" but no results...

Any idees ?

Kind regards

Try this ...
Add the line "xset s off s noblank" in your .xinitrc file ..
make sure you leave the last line as "fluxbox" ..

You may also have some "power saving" options in your bios
that you can disable or defeat ..

ke4nt is right, go to your bios and make changes there. I had to shut almost all that stuff off, because it kept suspending then it would not come back out. I did leave the hard drive shut down feature enabled though.
