I have a very old Veridata MegaPro 486D laptop which is 100 MHZ with 16 MB RAM and a 500 MB hard drive. Not to mention that this is old, it also doesnt have a CD ROM. The only way I can install DSL is by using the 2.5 inch to 3.5 inch IDE hard drive adapters and then using that as a desktop hard drive for the install. It installs perfect, no problems, however, when I boot it up on my laptop I get a lot of garble and this distinct message:
Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler! In interrupt handler - not syncing
This is the error that is tripping me up right now, I really want to fix this error, as this laptop is my favorite right now.
