Hello!
I am a new user of DSL and was trying to install kde. Everything went ok, until libx11 and libxt6 started to be processed.
These both failed because of a ln command in which -b was used in the .deb file?
Help! Is the .deb file for libx11-6_4.3.0.dfsg.1-12.0.1_i386 and libxt6_4.3.0.dfsg.1-12.0.1_i386.deb corrupted?
I downloaded the packages and then tried to force an install with the --force-all option; The errors related to ln and are shown below:
dpkg: error processing libx11.......deb (--install): subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 1 Unpacking libxt6 (from libxt6...deb) ... ln: invalid option -- b BuxyBox v1.00-pre10 (2004.06.12-14:15+000) MULTI-CALL BINARY
Usage: ln [OPTION] TARGET... LINK_NAME|DIRECTORY
etc etcl.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Freitag
