I can't c/p out of the shell.  How do I do it?  Does this shell store a log/history somewhere?
-now the apt part-

I tried installing clamAV.  It asks me some config questions, I get to the city/time question, it goes back to the apt-get screen where it creates both the user and group clamav.

Then the quirk: "not creating home folder"- which it doesn't, I created one and it didn't help.  It isn't presented as an error.  It's prob. not the exact quote since I am pulling it from my memory.

It tries to setup the clamav-freshclam:
Code Sample

dpkg: error processing clamav-freshclam (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Followed by dependency errors revolving around clamav-freshclam not being configured and thus clamav-data missing.

Subsequently every time I try to install using apt-get it tries to finish the clamav install, with the dependency problems, but "not creating home folder" or anything previous too it (not country selecting etc).

Guesses anyone?

P.S. My brain is fuzzy becuase of the lack of sleep thing, so sorry if I screwed up the post. The install was done pre-fuzzy though ;)
