I load dpkg using the dpkg.dsl I run apt-get update.
Whenever i try to apt-get install or run synaptic, it goes fairly far, downloading a bunch of stuff then, then says:
Code Sample | Setting up libc6 (2.3.2.ds1-22)... date: invalid date 'Thu Jun 9 00:18:00 UTC 2005' dpkg: error processing libc6 (--configure): subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1 Errors were encountered while processing: libc6 E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) |
And then it stops.
Also, kinda unrelated, but when i change ~/.xinitrc, it gets wiped of changes on reboot for somereason (it's on filetool.lst and a persistent partition). Instead I've been putt http_proxy into .bash_profile and it seems to be working.
