I am kinda in the same boat myself. I am trying to get a mandrake based distro to install in my smaller capacity machine (pII 96 mbr) and most mandy distros. The client machine it runs on is used by my computer illiterate romate, so I have to have some sort of graphical log in. He does not remember the startx command. But having seen the DSL desktop. It does look crisp and tight. So I may just go with it. :) Thanx for the developers for a fine distro.
