Hi,

I have installed DSL using the frugal method to a CF card and start DSL using the toram option. But, I can't seem to find a way to save my network settings when rebooting the system. I tried mounting the CF card, but the only file was a big KNOPPIX file and some grub files.
How can I config my own resolve.conf, gateway, ip-address?
I tried extracting the KNOPPIX file with extract_compressed_fs, but I always get an error "not enough out room", while there is more than a gig free space.
Any help would be appreciated.

Can anyone help me with this or point me in the right direction?

If you are using backup/restore, add your settings to bootlocal.sh. There are many threads here about restore network settings. Do a search of the forum from the beginning and you should have lots of information.

Good luck.

Thank you for the reply.
I was already searching the forums and found out about the bootlocal.sh file. I'm going to try it out.
