User Feedback :: how many computers tested

dell optiplex e1 64mb ram 33 proc whizzy.......

p1 80mbs hp machine 200hz vga=80*60 vwhizzy........

asus 1800 256mb ........ WHY ITS GREASE LIGHTNING...

Installed DSL 0.7.3 on an NEC versa 5080x with a pentium mmx processor. Works very well and have been able to use with my wireless network. Firefox works great though a bit slow which is to be expected for a 233Mhz machine. I did a HD install and llike it much better than Redhat which I had before.

Tested on another P1 166 MHZ,48 mb , and works great even with a serial mouse.

Tested in a HP Omnibook 5000C Pentium I 75Mz 64Mb ROM without CD
Make poors man installation via samba.dsl and floppy booting:
Well.........it works not very fast but works!
Now we have gcc compiler in MyDsl repository perhaps I can compile and use a soft for detecting and using pcmcia netcard and try to connect it!
By the way: My son enjoys doom.dsl :-)
