User Feedback :: Knoppix cd

I ordered the DSL or Knoppix cd but being new to computing, I'm having a problem with running it. I do not want to install it, just run and use it from the cd. When I place the Knoppix cd in my Inspiron 1100 (wins xp) some fold downloads but I can't proceed from that point. Any sugeestions?

I found out that what I had to do was go into my BIOS (hold down F2 key and boot) and goto list of booting devices, move the cd-rom device up to the top of this list and enable it.
I re-booted my PC with the DSL disk inside, and there it was--works great and looks like alot of fun.
