1. wtf is desktop warping?

2. older machines don't do dma. if you want dma, type "dsl dma" at the boot prompt.

You can disable desktop warping in /home/dsl/.fluxbox/init.
Personally I like that feature.

There's nothing I hate....anything done by default can be undone with backup/restore.

Things I don't love, like starting X automatically, but that was one of the first things I changed.
