User Feedback :: Boot error ??

Hi,
I am a newbie to linux and have just installed DS linux onto CD Rom.

When I let it boot itself it halted on :
checking for USB

I then rebooted and pressed F2 and selected failsafe and it all went fine

Do you have no usb, or perhaps a faulty or unconventional usb adapter?
If bypassing usb detection is ok for you then you can try entering "dsl nousb" at the boot prompt.
