User Feedback :: dsl book

im also very interested in that book! its my first linux experience. and im sure dsl is good base to learn linux.
is this book a good reading? does it cover all aspects?

and last, is that spider shop a good shop?
i looked at it and they only asked 4$ for international shipping to belgium. is this possible?

I got mine yesterday comes with 2 cd's one DSL 1.2 , a tutorial CD and a well organized booklet  (pretty good acctually for a green horn like me) it does not intimidate with big language.
Is the book really DSL specific or generic linux? What is on the training CD?

Chris

I looked at Knoppix Hacks in the bookstore.  It looked like more Knoppix that dsl but still had some neat things.  Did you know that in the Slashdot book review it said:

Quote
Rankin has collected a "who's who" of Linux hackers to contribute to this book: John Andrews, creator of Damn Small Linux; Fabian Franz, creator of FreeNX server; Alex de Landgraaf, creator of Morphix; Simon Peter, developer of klik; Wim Vandersmissen, creator of ClusterKnoppix and many others no less accomplished, all of whom have contributed to the future of free software/open source development.

I'd love to hear what John has to say about the experience.

the book is mostly DSL specific the training CD is generic a lot of KDE screenshots
