User Feedback :: Problem with MyDSl applet in version 1.2.1

Upgraded from v1 to v1.2.1 in a frugal install.

receive the following error when using the myDSL applet.

error: attempt to concat global `mirror' (a nil value)
stack traceback:
1: main of file `/usr/bin/mydslBrowser.lua' at line 30

Can anyone confirm this problem.

Sounds like you don't have a mirror selected for your downloads.

Check /opt/.dslrc this is new in 1.2 see Notes sections of website.
This file has a default of ibibilo.org and with protocol http

Also your menu should have Apps->Tools->Mirror Selector

If not then these are things that are missing from either your upgrade or your backup overwriting the new menu with the your old and thus missing the new features.

Many program were changed in 1.2 to use the local mirror option.

Yes you were right.

I ended up having to delete my restore partition and reloading frugal.
