Does any body know how to put german umlauts in DSL?

if you already searched in this forum you will see this question asked about sometimes ,to change to a different keyboard layout simply in your desktop menu (right-click) and you should find a option that is "Keyboard" then just select your layout or you can run the xsetup and select it from it.
