Other Help Topics :: DSL and Tomcat - Charset problem!

I want use my company's application and Tomcat in a small and beautiful virtual machine with Damn Small Linux
But I have a problem with charset an my browser show me a lot of  "?".
I set LANG=it_IT and put the LC_ files in
/usr/lib/locale/it_IT     and in
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/locale/it_IT

because before there was LANG=C (/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/locale/C i think..)

How I can use my charset?! Thanks!!
