Other Help Topics :: Live CD Boot won't work



I've downloaded the .iso file and put it on a cd-rw using ISO recorder. It can load and i press enter, but it just goes to a screen with 2 penguins in the corner. (isnt it caleed tux or something??? )
Ive tryed cheat codes but none of them work.Please help me I am at my wits end  :(
Can you give some details about your computer? If it's a laptop then give its model name.

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition SP2
Its a FUJITSU SIEMENS desktop computer.
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz
1 gig of RAM
250gb harddrive with lots of room.
RADEON X550  video card
my samsung monitor is 1024 x 768
