Other Help Topics :: Editing bootlocal.sh

How can i edit /opt/bootlocal.sh? I want to save my keyboard layout.

Edit: I tried to move files with Emelfm, but it says: "mv: unable to rename `/home/dsl/prime23': Permission denied". I think i should be root in Emelfm, but how to do it?

apps>tools>emelfm>emelfm as a superuser
or run "sudo emelfm"

Use a text editor with root privileges to edit bootlocal.sh (ie, beaver, etc.)

Thanks. Two more questions: 1.)  Is it possible to turn the information screen off on top right? and 2.) I have downloaded new wallpaper and I want it to be loaded at startup, how to do it?
1. That program is 'torsmo'
2. Are you using backup/restore?

1. remove or comment the "torsmo" line in /home/dsl/.xinitrc
2. put your image in /home/dsl/.fluxbox/backgrounds and use the wallpaper tool to set it. These files are included in backup by default, as long as backup/restore is activated.
