Other Help Topics :: Sarge with DSL.

I just wonder if it is safe to install libraries from sarge reposity with apt-get/synaptic or is there a possibility that system might go unstable/damaged/etc?
Since installing libs from oldstable is getting harder and harder. ;(

Safety is relative. You probably won't die if you install something. There is always the chance of breaking something though.

I know that's not what you wanted to hear. Try it. What's the worst that can happen?
