I have a Dell D610 that upon boot from a remastered CD I have to enter DSL acpi=off

I've tried figuring out what file I edit prior to remastering to make that permanent, but can not find it. One post said to edit isolinux.cfg, however, I don't have that file on my CD - I started with the 3.1-syslinux.iso

What would be the appropriate file to edit?
