DSL 4.4.4. When in superuser emelFM is there a way to get the copy function to preserve permissions?

Does the clone plugin work?
You could also invoke cp with something like "cp -a %f %D"

I was hoping there was a configuration file that could be changed to adjust how the copy button works.

Sorry, I thought you'd have researched it already. See the "configure" button in EmelFM.

I see, I didn't know about the plugin stuff. Yes clone is installed. It doesn't provide for a simple copy from one panel to the other while preserving permissions. I suppose I have to study up on emelFM. It doesn't look there is a simple answer.
