No, each distro usually has its own kernel version and its own patches/configs - it's better to get one that corresponds to the one you are using. I'm seeing .../scsi/ibmmca.o (scsi, ibm, mca) which might work with your device. Are you trying to use a dsl bootfloppy+cd combo? What are you trying to do here? If the cd device in question is that ibm mca scsi device, and the bootfloppy does not detect it, you may have to add the above file to the bootfloppy's [ minitrt24.gz > minitrt24 > modules > scsi ] directory |
