DSL Talk

I'm not proud of it, but I do use Windows all the time. At school, Windows with Novell, and at home, Windows XP Pro, but hopefully I will have my FreeBSD/ Fedora Core 4 Release 1 Dual Boot system up and running soon.

altho i forgot it, i do use most of the above oses, linux and windows the most, followed by dos and gem on a hp lx100 palmtop :)

I wish that my school ran linux, the multiple windows OS's they run are useless, I changed the date to 1990 on a few of them -because thats where they're stuck...

this is in a P2: 300Mhz, 128ram, windowsNT, HDD: god knows (but its not enough) computer lab, probably the crappiest lab in the school out of the science department...

I figure just about any other OS will run better -it takes MINUTES to LOG IN sometimes!!!

anyway, moral: windows made my school crap, ruining my education and making me too tall and skinny.

my school was skateing by on mac plus'es and a few centrisis, now they have blazeing hot p4s (i'm not talking about speed... 80 f in a air contitioned room) running Xp home, the admins even agree that linux would be a better choice, but the school has thir heads up thir as*es.

Windows for games only, only internet access is for multiplayer action
Linux for everthing else for lack of M$ factor.
I try to convert everyone I meet to Linux,mainly by handing the a DSL B/Card
