I am using a Elephant USB 2.0 stick with 256 MB to boot DSL-N on my: Dell Inspiron ME051 Intel(R) Celeron(R) M Processor 1.50 GHz / 0.99 GB RAM / 40 GB Hard Drive. Everything seems to be running alright... How do I configure my Dell Wireless 1370 Wlan MINI-PCI Card?
Eventually I would like to use a 1 GB Lexar Jump Drive. How do I remove one of its partitions (it has two) and make it have a single partition? With fdisk /dev/sda booting DSL-N from a live CD (I don't know how to remove partitions from a USB stick using Windows...)? Please assist me...
I am very pleased with DSL-N and would like to test any extensions you might need. In particular I am keen into loading heavy apps like GIMP, OOo, Firefox and Thunderbird (usual suspects)...
Kind regards,

For wireless you can try using ndiswrapper (http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/).
Basically you have to follow these steps:
1. log as root (just type "su" on a terminal)
2. ndiswrapper -i <your driver.INF> (you can try to pick up your driver at ndiswrapper site)
3. ndiswrapper -l (to check if your driver was installed properly)
4. modprobe ndiswrapper
4. dmesg | grep ndiswrapper (to see if the module was loaded properly)
5. iwconfig (should list a wireless interface - usually "wlan0")
6. iwconfig -h (list help from iwconfig - I do not remember all commands, but some of them are: essid, mode (usually Managed), channel...
7. If you have success installing your card I think you have to insert line "ndiswrapper" at /etc/modules to be able to restart all above stuff automatically after reboot

regarding partitions you can use cfdisk (you can find a lot of info at google).

regarding extension, you can find a lot of them at:
Good luck!
