The french keyboard map (selected in the boot codes) is incorrect or bugged. It is azerty but the accented letters are missing and the "alt-gr" key selections appear instead. The "alt-gr" key does not appear to function (nothing changes on using the key. Cheers Jo |

with fr-latin1it 's ok : à é è ù û but for @, it's cut/paste from adress line in opera850 so it's ok sometimes |

Did you use the "fr-latin1"? That should work. The shorter "fr" is 7-bit (i think) and it doesn't have the special letters in any language (german, finnish, swedish, french etc..)
I think that the the keyboards "fi", "de", "fr" etc.. should be removed and only offer the right versions (-latin1 or -latin9 or -latin0 )
PS. I didn't check, but I remember that "fr" is french.. |
